Aluminum

Alloy: 5356 - H18

Hypoallergenic: Above average

Will Tarnish: No

Cleanliness: Great

Magnetic: No

Cleaning: Ultrasonic cleaner or hot soapy water.

Special Notes: We use extremely well-finished aluminum, with a "bright" appearance.

Anodized Aluminum

Alloy: 5356 - H18

Hypoallergenic: Above average

Will Tarnish: No

Cleanliness: Excellent

Magnetic: No

Cleaning: Hot soapy water. Avoid strong acids/bases.

Special Notes: The process of anodizing aluminum can lead to inconsistent color layer thickness at the molecular level. This can affect weave density, though is usually imperceptible.

Stainless Steel

Alloy: 304

Hypoallergenic: Contains Nickel

Will Tarnish: No

Cleanliness: Excellent

Magnetic: Varies from "No" to "Slightly"

Cleaning: Ultrasonic cleaner or hot soapy water.

Special Notes: We use alloy 304, as it contains less nickel than surgical stainless steel, while maintaining excellent corrosion, heat, and rust resistance. Nickel is most often the cause of allergic reactions with metal.

Titanium

Alloy: Ti-6Al-4V

Hypoallergenic: Excellent

Will Tarnish: Color may fade from skin oils - clean to renew.

Cleanliness: Excellent
